Liran Markin

I build at the intersection of AI and systems. I cofounded Edwin and Genie, and was the first employee at Sentra. Along the way I’ve worked as a vulnerability researcher, software engineer, sales engineer, and product manager.

Competitive programming shaped how I think about problems. I’m a two-time IOI bronze medalist and did an M.Sc in Computer Science at the University of Haifa at 19, where I now coach the ICPC team and lecture the competitive programming course. My background spans algorithms, low-level systems, and national security, including years in an Israeli military intelligence unit. These days most of my work is hands-on AI and LLM engineering.
